Centralized and clear management
With traditional WAN technologies, management still takes place per individual network device. This is not only time-consuming but also increases the risk of errors. SD-WAN allows you to manage the entire WAN centrally because management functions are separated from the hardware.
A centralized controller manages the entire network. Through this controller, network policies can be defined for all or specific devices, and performance levels can be set for each connection. The desired network policies are then securely implemented on all network devices. The controller continuously monitors the operational status of each connection and the performance of the entire network.
Always the right configurations
With SD-WAN, there’s no longer a need to manually configure each network device. Using Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP), every network device within the SD-WAN is automatically configured. New devices only need to be connected and powered on at the location. Any employee, at any site, can install a device without requiring technical expertise.
