Service Edge
The Wanscale Service Edge is the hardware solution deployed on-site as an extension of the platform. It’s a universal device where various services like SD-WAN, firewalling, and routing are activated through the platform.
The Wanscale platform seamlessly integrates with the Service Edges deployed on-site. The combination of Service Edge and Platform forms the foundation of the entire Wanscale service offering.
Virtual Services
In addition to activating Wanscale services, it’s also possible to activate several Virtual Machines such as Session Border Controllers, monitoring tools, or other applications on the device. This allows for creating a virtual edge landscape in a straightforward and integrated manner.
Full control
Through the portal, the Service Edges can be fully managed and configured. This means that all configurations are easily generated, managed, and automatically distributed to all Service Edges from the platform.

Yes, our Service Edge can be configured with either 1 node or 2 nodes. In the case of a dual-node configuration, if one of the nodes fails, everything on-site continues to function normally.
When ordering a Service Edge, it's important to specify whether you want a single-node or redundant (dual-node) model.
Additionally, it's important to specify the dimensions of the device so that we can accommodate your requirements. We offer standard rack-mounted models as well as models that can be mounted on a DIN rail.
Lastly, it's important to specify which plug type we should include with your order. Please note that power plug specifications may vary by country.
