Two possibilities
To connect locations or data centers to Microsoft Azure, there are generally two options. The simplest way is to establish the connection via the public internet.
However, the best solution is to use Microsoft’s recommended ExpressRoute. While more complex to configure, this setup is safer and offers better control.
Wanscale Cloud Connect provides automatic provisioning of Microsoft ExpressRoute, including the associated BGP settings, based on the parameters entered in the WANScale portal.
Express Route
To prevent the Express Route from being configured incorrectly or the configuration becoming a time-consuming, complex task, within the Wanscale Platform, the complexity has been completely eliminated. This makes the configuration of the Express Route a straightforward process.
Part of the network
When created, Microsoft Azure automatically becomes an integral part of the company’s network and thus falls within platform management. Additionally, aspects such as Unified Policies and Quality of Service are automatically configured for this connection.
